Electron Spin Resonance (ESR)


  1. L-, X-, Q-band at temperatures down to 2.7 K (down to 0.7K in cooperation with University of Augsburg, Experimentalphysik V)

  2. high field ESR  (in cooperation with IFW Dresden, EPR group)

  3. Examples: YbRh2Si2 (➙ Scientific Rep. MPI CPfS 2006 p.165)







Optical Spectroscopy


  1. Solid state, metal optics at temperatures down to 1.5 K and magnetic fields up to 9T

  2. Far-infrared and UV spectroscopy (partly cooperating with the Institute for Molecular Science, UVSOR facility, Japan)
